We have 8 flying sites altogether.
Below are the 6 we use the most. They’re
are complementary to each other, close
by (no driving for hours) and great!

Visting Pilots
From 2008 all our sites are now completely
private. Since we have been
building, renting and maintaining
the sites without any external help
and we cannot spend 30 minitues or
more to brief each visiting pilot
taking time away from our customers
and after serious problems with visiting
pilots all our sites are now totally
private and reserved to
our customers.
But there are many great flying sites
in the area which are not so sensitive,

Tintin
Height difference:
500m
Landing: beach in front of the
hotel
It is the ridge immediately behind the
hotel.
This site provides ridge soaring
and thermal flying. It is sometimes
flyable for hours.
Even if you don't get any lift
by the time you reach the sea,
you will be 200 to 300 meters high,
which is still enough to do one
or two manoeuvres if you feel like
it.

Ted's café
Height difference:
600m
This is our magic flying site,
it has become the favourite to
many pilots.
It is definitely the most
constant thermal site I have
ever flown, working from morning
till evening.
It's an excellent site for beginners
to learn thermaling and it also
has an excellent potential for
cross-country, many 100 km+ have
been done from there. |

Peter's paradise
Height difference:
1000 m

This
is a classic thermal site, offering
excellent potential for cross-country.
Definitely one of the most beautiful
view over Greece. The 60 km out
and return to the hotel cross-country
is done regularly. However, we
are still trying to break the
120 km from there. |

Blacky
Height difference: 320 m
Located 15 minutes from the hotel.
This site is, as far as I am concern,
and I have been flying in a lot of
places, unique! Imagine a take off
320 meters above the sea and only 500
meters away. You would not expect very
much, would you?
Incredibly we have climbed regularly
up to 2000 meters in 6 to 7 m/s thermals
and then went onto go XC.
Maria's way
Height difference: 320 m
Situated on the same hill than Blacky,
but 1 km further away and with 2 launches
facing others directions, it also has
a beach landing.
We have overlooked this site for years
thinking that it would not produced
any good thermals being so close to
the sea! But the thermals are superb!
